MALABAR (1) improved last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury after being in the firing line on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. OUR UPTOWN GIRL (6) finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Kembla Grange two weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to stop. CIGAR MAN (7) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.6 lengths over 1m at Wyong. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he cannot be underestimated. CLUBMAN (2) was a winner over 1m at Scone last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by 1.5 lengths. In form and will be running on hard again.
