MICKEY'S MEDAL (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when seventh in a 1m contest at Scone two weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. JUNEBUG (4) recorded a strong maiden win over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook last time, getting there by 1.3 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and she is one of the main chances. GOOD ONCE (1) is going well with five minor placings from seven starts this prep. Produced another good effort last start when second over 7½f at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. NEW FOREST (3) recorded his first win last start over 1m at Kembla Grange, getting home by 1.75 lengths. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
