UNIVERSALLY (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when eighth over 1m at Sale seven-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the bend. Faces an easier assignment so she can find the winners' list. LICHESTER (8) returned from a lay-off three weeks ago when she was beaten 5.5 lengths into seventh over 6½f at Mt Gambier. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is fitter and worth serious consideration. SAXON BEAUTY (6) finished eighth two runs back at Warracknabeal then improved last time out to score by 2.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner over 1m at Moe. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. VEGAS ON FIRE (15) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 5 lengths away in sixth over 1m at Bairnsdale. Better than recent efforts suggest.
