KUSINI (3) tackled city class latest when sixth at Sandown-Lakeside, finishing 3 lengths from the winner. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and should be hard to stop. ACAPPELLA MOON (11) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 5½f at Bendigo. One to watch for in the closing stages. THREE GRAND (10) hit the frame two starts ago at Ballarat Synthetic but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. LITTLE SANDY (14) won at Warrnambool two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing eighth over 5½f at Horsham. Deserves another chance.
