CITY CHICK (1) did a great job to score by 2.75 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is capable of another big run. JE SUIS FABULEUX (9) turned in a modest performance when eighth last start over 5¼f at Rockhampton, beaten 5 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. That followed a good win on debut at Thangool. Enjoys a drop in grade so she can make amends. IGBO (7) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 14 lengths, at Gatton over 4f65yards after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. FIRST GRANGE (5) returns from a lay-off of ten weeks and is having his first run for a new yard. Was a winner when fresh last campaign at Sapphire Coast over 5f. Ran fourth in a trial at Deagon over 3¼f recently.
