CHAMPAGNE TONIGHT (8) knuckled down strongly to get within a long neck of the winner in third last start over 4¾f at Moree. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Will give a great sight. PARANA RIVER (11) was in contention on the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 4¾f at Moree, beaten a nose. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. LOCKDOWN LAD (13) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 5f at Warren. Can figure in the finish.
