READY AND LUCKY (2) was in the money when resuming at Scone then could only manage fifth last time out over 6½f at Scone. Capable of a return to form. MONTGOLFIER (4) proved too strong two runs ago at Taree. Not as effective last time out when ninth over 7f at Moree, beaten 11 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ATHENA'S TREASURE (6) is back from a lay-off of six months. Closed last prep with a seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6f at Beaumont (Newcastle). Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Can give this a shake. MAD HARRY (7) won at Muswellbrook two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing seventh over 7f at Moree. Should be thereabouts in this suitable race.
