DEVOTED DEPUTY (2) comes here off a last-start fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 6f at Quirindi. Best figures measure up favourably. SOUTH BULLAWAY (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.4 lengths over 6f at Warren. Well placed and should be about the mark.
