TAKEOVER LAD (7) was beaten 1.4 lengths into third at Tamworth two starts ago then finished 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last time at Armidale. Settles off the speed. Solid top-three chance. TERRITORY DAY (4) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Mudgee, beaten 2 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
