SPEED FIGURES (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 3.5 lengths away in sixth over 5f at this track after being in contention on the turn. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. AWESOME CRUSADER (6) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 5½f at this track (Synthetic). Sound record at this distance with two wins and nine minor placings from 15 runs and is among the leading chances. JACK KEROUAC (5) finished 12th two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. ARROGANCY (7) broke his maiden last start over 6f at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) when resuming, scoring by 0.8 lengths. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated.
