CHIMED (2) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 1m4f at Geelong, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Hamilton at the previous outing. Linda Meech gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Ideally placed and is sure to bounce back to form. CORBULO (4) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when eighth over 1m at Sale after he was prominent at the corner. Has further improvement to come and can turn things around. BRAWL (6) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 20 lengths away in tenth over 1m4f at Geelong. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. KOKONOTSU (5) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign to finish just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 1m1f at Burrumbeet. Another forward showing is anticipated.
