STAKEHOLDER (4) is fresh from a lay-off of eight months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Nowra over 5½f. In a different yard now. Ran fifth in a trial at Wyong over 5f recently. Plenty to like about his prospects. BY THE WAY (5) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Stirling Osland barn. Finished off last campaign with a ninth at Eagle Farm five months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Among the leading chances. NOZOMU (14) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished eighth over 6f at Doomben. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role. KOBI EXPRESS (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 5f at Coffs Harbour when resuming from a lay-off, beaten half a length. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
