GREY EFFECTS (7) is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a sixth at Port Macquarie two starts back then got the job done by 1.1 lengths as favourite last time out over 6f at Port Macquarie. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to cope. ANOTHER WISH (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 5 lengths when sixth over 5f at this track a week ago. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. WHERE'S THE FIRE (3) got well back over 5f125yards at this track last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4.5 lengths away in eighth. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. OLD TIMING MAN (11) was safely held when ninth last time out over 6f at Murwillumbah, beaten 8 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
