COSMIC FORTUNE (10) started at 7/4 last time on the back of a win at Ballina two starts ago but was below her best, finishing eighth over 5f at Ballina. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. MORE THAN A STAR (3) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 2.5 lengths from the winner in second when resuming last start over 5f at Dubbo. Should run on into the finish again. TARA KODA (13) made late ground and finished second last time over 6½f at Coffs Harbour, beaten a long neck. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BAD BOY DARBY (15) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 6½f at Coffs Harbour. Solid top-three hope.
