PAPERINO (14) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 6¾f at Ipswich. Sure to prove tough to beat. GAVIN (1) was prominent in the run and gave a big sight when second over 1m at Ballina just 10 days ago. Good effort last start and is worth following up. FOO FIGHTER (7) finished sixth when resuming at Lismore two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f137yards at Lismore, beaten 4 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. CORVETTE PRIDE (8) went forward last time and looked a chance on the corner but faded to finish eighth over 7f at Taree. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
