BORN CONQUEROR (1) strode forward early from his wide draw over 1m2 1/2f at Tuncurry last time, leading for much of the way before being claimed in the straight to finish third, beaten 1.5 lengths. Solid run last time and will take catching again. WEE KAHUNA (9) was a narrow winner in a at this track then out of the money last time when sixth at Lismore. Down in the weights on last run. Can bounce back to winning form. OCTAVIO (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Lismore, finishing third and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m2 1/2f. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
