MASHEAN (4) returned last time with a solid second at Canberra over 5f after being prominent at the turn. Taking on a better field but she is up to the task. ALDEZOR (2) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having his first outing under new trainer Kerry Parker. Finished eighth at Canterbury over 5½f at the opening run last time in work. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Kembla Grange. Worth serious consideration. SEMIBREVE (1) was well held last time in town, finishing seventh over 6¼f at Canterbury. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to stop. BIVACCO (5) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 5f at Wyong. Has had the benefit of two trials leading into this. Can kick off with a bold showing.
