STRASSMAN (4) was doing his best work late last start to get up for third over 6½f at Kembla Grange. Must respect the stable decision to remove the blinkers. Major player. JARED (5) lines up for the first time since November 27. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 6¼f at Newcastle. Makes plenty of appeal. OAKFIELD EARTH (11) finished half a length from the winner in fourth last start after being prominent at the bend over 7¼f at Quirindi, an improvement on her sixth on debut at Newcastle the run before. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp.
