DWAYNE (2) is struggling to break through but has been around the mark lately, last start finishing third over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle. Leading chance. MALBORK CASTLE (4) was fresh from a break of five months last start when beaten 0.9 lengths into second over 6½f at Canberra after he was up on the pace all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the main contenders. ANT (6) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when third, beaten a long neck, at Canterbury over 7¾f. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Should be involved in the finish. COVERT THINKING (7) turned in a much better run at her second appearance last time out when 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 7½f at Newcastle. Coming along nicely and should be in the finish.
