EXTREME DIVA (6) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten half a length, over 5f at Wyong when returning from a lay-off. Leading player again. LORD VETTORI (3) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 5½f after being in contention on the bend. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves his chance. APOLLO RIDGE (1) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 6½f at Newcastle. Placed in a recent trial. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
