SPINIFEX DJON'S (15) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing third and beaten 1. 2 lengths over 4f at Ipswich. Can get off the mark this time. FEARLESS WIN (11) is a locally trained maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing fourth over 6f in the G3 BJ McLachlan Stakes at Eagle Farm at the latest appearance on December 27. Looks to be in good order following a trial win. Key runner. OLIVONI (13) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at Ipswich when second, beaten a neck. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so another top-three finish is on the cards. JOLAYNA DASH (16) raced once in the maiden campaign when seventh in the LR Phelan Ready Plate at Doomben over 5½f back on December 6. Top-three chance with that run under her belt.
