MIDNIGHT DRIFTER (4) resumed with a win at Sunshine Coast then missed the placings last time over 7f at this track, finishing 5 lengths from the winner. Lay-off so a big run is on the cards. NODACHI (5) has switched yards since finishing ninth six-and-a-half weeks ago over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Worth serious consideration. LADY SHOTGUN (3) drifted back and never threatened when tenth last start over 6f at Doomben. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. BLANTONS RUN (8) will find this a little easier after racing town last time, finishing fourth over 6¾f at Doomben. Deserves another chance.
