Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. CHIBA (1) finished 5. 5 lengths behind the winner in seventh place when resuming over 6f last start at Doomben. Leading chance on best form. SAILOR'S RUM (6) returns from a lay-off of 14 months. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when disqualified over 6f at Rockhampton. Has switched to the Alisha Taylor stable over the break. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Sure to be competitive.
