SLY BOOTS (6) broke through for a win last start when second up from a lay-off, scoring by 2 lengths over 1m at Randwick. Improvement in store so a big run is likely. YOU WAHNG (12) is a talented mare who was well held last time in tougher grade over 1m in the G2 The Ingham at Randwick. Class drop from last start and given another chance. PORT LOCKROY (1) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace last start before tiring to finish seventh, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 7½f in the LR Tails Stakes at Eagle Farm. Solid top-three prospects.
