NOW IS THE HOUR (5) showed good pace and went on to score by 4 lengths last time out over 6f at Eagle Farm. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running a bold race. AXIUS (1) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by a nose over 6f at Randwick. Fitter for that last hitout and can go on with it. CASH (12) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off as favourite last start over 6f at Gawler. Should tighten right up following that outing. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MAYFAIR (16) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Canberra over 7f. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders.
