BETTA THAN PRESLEY (1) was prominent from the outset and finished a very close third last start over 6f at this track to make it seven minor placings in a row. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. JE REVE (2) gave the leaders a start last start and made little impact in the straight when sixth, beaten 5 lengths, over this journey at Sunshine Coast. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. KOTOR BAY (7) is a filly by Perast out of Alexandra Gardens making her first appearance. Impressive recent trial winner with this rider Rebecca Wilson in the saddle. Should be competitive with the blinkers going straight on. GOLDARNIE (6) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Launched last prep with a minor placing at this track over 5f. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
