SCOTTVILLE SCOOTER (3) resumes from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months and is having her first outing under new trainer Robert Lyford. Finished eighth at Rockhampton over 6f at the opening run last time in work. Placed in a recent trial. Sure to prove tough to beat. PHIL UP (8) returns after six months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Nicely placed and expected to go well. NINJASK (7) debuted three weeks ago when he finished fourth over 5½f at Beaudesert, beaten 4 lengths. Top-three chance with that run under his belt. HANEY (1) has been in the betting recently but has failed to break through. Most recently finished sixth over 5f at Grafton, beaten 8 lengths. Worth considering.
