Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. GAMBINO (8) lines up for the first time since April 24. Looking to emulate his win at Sale when returning from a lay-off last prep. Has switched to the Kelly Schweida yard. Looks a winning chance. TIME BANDIT (5) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Jordan Grob stable. Hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Bathurst four-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. LA PETITE MAISON (1) finished fourth over 5½f at Ipswich when resuming last start, beaten only 2 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
