HIDDEN MELODY (6) was a winner over 5½f at Gold Coast Poly last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by half a length. Has found the frame at all four visits to this track, including a win. Should be in the finish. RALPHIE (3) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 5½f at Ipswich, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner. Has a good record at this journey with three wins from 14 starts. Credentials hard to knock. LUMBER PUNK (5) drifted well back from the inside draw last time before winding up strongly and finishing sixth over 6f at Darwin. Among the chances. TIME BANDIT (7) is a five-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Jordan Grob yard. Hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Bathurst four-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Has to be respected.
