SANS EGAL (8) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish eighth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at this track. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. BOULEVARD BOY (1) stepped out for his debut over 6¾f at Ipswich back on February 5 and finished tenth, beaten 17 lengths. Winkers are off for return. Rates strongly and expected to go close. BESIEGE (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fifth in a 7f contest at Gatton nine days ago. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. PHYLISS (7) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished sixth at Sunshine Coast over 6f, beaten 4.5 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
