CHERBOURG (1) finished 9 lengths behind the winner in tenth over 1m1f at Eagle Farm last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Likely to feature. TOROVISTA (2) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m2f at this track, beaten only 0.7 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. VANCITY (7) started favourite last time but found one better over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Looks well placed stepping out in trip. Can figure in the finish. EL ASTEROID (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths into sixth. Rikki Jamieson gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
