Race Tip

DE GRANDHOMME (1) finished third when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Belmont Park. Sure to prove tough to beat. PLAYFUL STAR (9) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 5½f at Toodyay. Among the leading chances. WEAPONS HOT (4) finished seventh two runs back at Belmont Park then improved last time out to score by 1. 5 lengths after being in contention on the bend over 5f at moora. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. I'M ON (5) is back at the races for the first time since April 13. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at this track. Among the better hopes.
