BELVEDERE ROCK (2) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 7f at Carnarvon when he made late ground. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of a big run. TORQUE OF WAR (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6¾f at Toodyay, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. No surprise to see him in contention.
