COVERT THINKING (4) was prominent at the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. OMNIC (3) was narrowly beaten last time finding one better at this track. That followed a run of two wins on end. Certainly worth another chance. HOTEI SENSHI (10) made a nice return in a at Bendigo then stepped up in grade last time and finished seventh over 7f at Caulfield. Can bounce back to his best form.
