WHAT A CROSS (8) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing fifth at Morphettville. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Likely to feature. NOTHIN' WONG HERE (7) turned in a strong run last time when third at Bendigo just six days ago. Backing up quickly over the longer journey. Good effort last start and is worth following up. FLASHLIGHT (2) had been in sound form but last start he was safely held when ninth over 1m3f at Bendigo. Brad Rawiller has a solid record aboard this five-year-old gelding so he should be given another chance. AVONVIEW (15) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 1m2 1/4f at Mornington. That followed a win at Kilmore the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can run a bold race.
