HOLLANDIA (1) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m2 1/2f at Echuca last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Cranbourne the run before. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. ZAAFFAIR STEAL (9) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Cranbourne, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m2f after being in the firing line on the bend. Faces an easier assignment so she is one of the main contenders. PRINCE OF BYRON (3) improved last time out, finishing a neck from the winner in second when he made late ground at the end of 1m2f at Warrnambool. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. THE YACHTSMAN (11) improved sharply last time out to score by one length over 1m1f at Kerang three weeks ago. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
