GRID GIRL (4) finished 1.75 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 7f at Caulfield, an improvement on her sixth at Morphettville Parks the run before. Has the ability to produce a better result. SNAFFLES (1) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Ben, Will & Jd Hayes stable. Hasn't raced since finishing seventh at Sha Tin 17 months ago. Fitter for a trial win at Pakenham and looks nicely placed. Leading prospect. PARDON MY FRENCH (8) resumed two-and-a-half weeks ago over 6½f at Cranbourne and was only beaten 2 lengths into fourth. Fitter and sure to run well.
