OFF THE DEEP END (11) ran on strongly only to just miss last start over 1m at Ballarat. Nicely placed to go one better. BO COUGAR (6) worked home well to grab third at her latest appearance at Yarra Valley over 1m1 3/4f. Good signs last time and can play a major role. CHOCOLATE ROYAL (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only one length over 1m at Balnarring. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. READY TIGER (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Ballarat, finishing fourth and only 1.2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m. Sure to be thereabouts.
