DOUBLERN (7) is back after a break of seven months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Bendigo. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Comes here with definite claims. LOVE FOR US (8) is back at the races for the first time since July 26. Scored over 6f at Warracknabeal at the start of last prep. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. CHILLI TYCOON (4) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 5f at Colac, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Likely improver with solid prospects.
