SPIRIT OF FLIGHT (10) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Balaklava. Less impressive last time out when tenth over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 16 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so she is a leading contender. ALAINGE (6) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished sixth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track then improved and scored over 6½f at Mt Gambier five days ago, getting home by 1.75 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. INTACTO (14) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 6f at Port Augusta, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth. Going up a level this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. ROBERT THE PUSS (8) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.5 lengths at this track and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Nicely placed to take this out.
