RUMBLE TOWN (8) drifted back and never threatened when sixth last start over 6½f at Seymour. Has the ability to produce a better result. LOPE BY NIGHT (12) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished 7 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. SHAMOUTI (9) returns after ten months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 7¼f at Murwillumbah. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Sunshine Coast over 6f. Has ability and is a leading player. AKKU (10) is a 12-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3 lengths when fifth over 5½f at Toowoomba. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
