PRETTY RHO (12) settled well back last start and never threatened when 9 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. QICKWIT (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 4f at Esk. Has further improvement to come and is among the leading chances. SONIC ARROW (19) finds it hard to win with two victories from 55 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 6f at Kilcoy, beaten a long neck. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. MAY (16) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 11 lengths away in eighth over 1m at Toowoomba. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
