FRENCH RIVIERA (2) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten one length, over 6¾f at Ipswich when coming back from a lay-off. Improvement to come and the addition of blinkers is a positive sign. STYLISH ANGEL (10) is yet to break through in seven runs. Finished fifth at her last appearance over 6¾f at Ipswich on November 13. Well placed on this occasion and gets her chance to break the ice. SNUGG (8) wound up strongly last time at the end of 6f at Kilcoy to finish second, a head from the winner. The extra journey looks a positive step so she is one of the prime contenders. SUBTLE HINTS (11) was beaten 9 lengths into fourth in a 7¾f contest at Murwillumbah last time out. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
