VESPER LYND (8) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish third over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Has the pace to overcome the draw. Expected to be in the finish. LOOK IT'S LUCY (6) is back after a break of four months. At the last run before the layoff she finished 14th over 5½f at Gold Coast. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Ipswich over 4f. Rates highly and is a strong chance to break through. LEICA PHERRARI (10) is on a seven-day back-up after finishing in the money over 4f at Warwick. Handy draw will assist and should be in the finish. RIP UP RUBY (7) resumes from a lay-off of nine months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6½f at Rockhampton. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
