DEION (6) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6f at Warren after being in contention all the way. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MISS JENNIFER (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f190yards at Grafton, beaten 4 lengths into sixth. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. ZOUTASTIC (10) went forward and proved too strong last time, scoring with 1.5 lengths to spare over 5½f at Grafton. Will be in this for a long way. MAID IN DUBAI (7) comes here off a break of five months. Scored over 7f at Benalla at the start of last prep. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
