RITA RED (5) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Corowa over 4½f after being in the firing line all the way. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running a bold race. CARAVANSERAI (1) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw when resuming last time out then found the line strongly to grab second over 5f21yards at Moruya. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. SPEED OF THOUGHT (6) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 5f190yards at Albury, beaten 1.5 lengths. Steps up a level but she is good enough to take this out. TRIPTOLEMUS (7) sat on the pace on debut last time out but faded late, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth over 5f190yards at Albury. Open to improvement and looks a contender.
