Harder here but a bold showing is expected. EVERAIN (3) has two wins and one placing from three starts this campaign. Scored last start by half a length at Sandown-Hillside over 7f after being prominent upon straightening. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. CRIPPS (11) finished third two runs back at Yarra Valley then improved last time out to score by 6 lengths over 7f at Ballarat. Meets a stronger field but he is worth serious consideration. ALERO (17) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7f at Caulfield, beaten just a long neck. Suitably placed so he can figure again.
