LEGIO TEN (9) progressed nicely last start when he did his best work late to finish a close second over 6f at Caulfield after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to find winning ways. BAROQUE ROAD (5) turned things around last start and got the job done by a nose after being in contention on the turn over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Must raise the bar but another win beckons. SOUTH OF HOUSTON (15) resumed three weeks ago over 5½f at Caulfield and was only beaten 2 lengths into fourth. Has a perfect second up record from two starts including last prep when successful over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Strips fitter and can find the winner's circle. PIONEER RIVER (11) finished seventh last start over 6f at Caulfield after racing on the pace for much of the way. Can feature in the finish.
