NAMESAKE (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when tenth, beaten 12 lengths, over 7f43yards at Caulfield. Should be peaking now and looks set to find best form. VALOIS (8) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Mornington but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 7f43yards at Caulfield. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. GREAT MAXIMUS (7) built on a nice third two starts back at Murray Bridge with success over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks three weeks ago, getting home by 3.5 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is good enough to take this out. EUGENIUS (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 7f43yards at Caulfield. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
