ARRAN BAY (7) started at 5/2 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 2 lengths, at Caulfield over 1m. Change of jockey to Daniel Stackhouse who has a strong record when aboard, including two wins. Bold showing expected. EL SOLEADO (9) has been in sparkling form, scoring three wins on end only to miss the frame last time over 1m1f in the G2 Peter Young Stakes at Caulfield. Back to the scene of his victory two runs back. Craig Williams has registered three minor placings when on board. Bold showing expected. Group 3 placegetter BRAYDEN STAR (4) resumed three weeks ago over 7f at Echuca and was only beaten 2 lengths into seventh. Second up record is very strong. Facing a tougher assignment but he is fitter and good enough to feature. Group 3 placegetter FRANKIE PINOT (5) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 7f at Rosehill after he gave away a big start. Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
